I am looking forward to working with you and your child! It is going to be a great year!
Kindergarten is such a fun and exciting time! Many educational and fun activities are already planned for this school year.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I have a love for learning and I hope that my students learn to love learning as much as I still do. I hope that they will enjoy coming to my classroom and learn something new everyday.
I believe that all children are unique and require specific attention and affection for them to flourish and grow.
I will strive to be that for each of my students; an educator who loves each child that walks in her door and gives each of them- not only an education, but instills in them a passion to learn.
Here's to a great learning journey together and a great year ahead!

*Tips for Reading Aloud to Your Child-
Before you begin reading a book, say the title of the book and the name of the author. Look at the cover illustration and ask your child what they think the story will be about.
.Make reading interactive
.Ask them questions about what they think will happen next in the story.
.Point out New Information
.Relate your child's experiences to actions in the book
After You Read the Book-
.Engage your child in a conversation about the story. Talking about the story helps develop comprehension skills and important thinking skills.
.Encourage your child to share mental images related to the book. For example, "How do you think it would feel to swim in the sea when its dark?"
I hope you enjoy reading some of these books to your child.
