Our Lady of Mercy Academy depends on individual fundraising obligations and a yearly contribution to our operating budget from the Archdiocese of Newark. Due to the current climate, our Archdiocesan contribution has been reduced and it was impossible for us to hold our annual Fashion Show. The loss of these two important contributions leaves us no choice but to ask for your help. Although families pay tuition, the amount does not come close to providing the true cost of educating a child.
We ask you to consider helping us to bridge the gap by underwriting items of which we are in need of or contributing a cash gift. We are undertaking the enormous task of rebuilding our school for the future. We hope you are pleased with what you have seen in the short time since we have been able to reopen our beautiful school. It is our renewed goal to make Our Lady of Mercy Academy the very best that it can be, spiritually, academically, and financially.
